Return Policy

At Hall Engine Company, we are committed to providing quality marine diesel engine parts and exceptional customer service. Please review the following requirements before requesting a return.

Standard Returns

Most new, unused products may be returned within 25 calendar days after the customer receives the product for a refund or exchange.

To qualify for a return, products must:

• Be in new, unused and uninstalled condition.
• Be returned in the original manufacturer’s packaging.
• Include all manuals, hardware, labels and accessories.
• Be accompanied by the original order number or proof of purchase.

Returns requested more than 25 calendar days after the confirmed delivery date will not be accepted unless required by law or covered under the manufacturer’s warranty. Returns that do not meet the requirements above may be refused or subject to a restocking fee.

Return Authorization Required

Before returning any item, customers must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number from Hall Engine Company. Returns received without an RMA number may be refused or returned to the sender.

To request an RMA, call 954-767-9000 and have your order number and product information available.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

• Electrical and electronic components.
• ECMs, sensors, control modules and circuit boards.
• Fuel injectors.
• Gaskets and seal kits once opened.
• Fluids, lubricants, chemicals and adhesives.
• Special-order or non-stock items.
• Custom-manufactured parts.
• Clearance or discontinued products.
• Products that have been installed, modified, damaged or show signs of use.

Incorrectly Ordered Parts

Marine engines may have multiple serial-number breaks and configuration changes. Customers are responsible for verifying compatibility before placing an order. Hall Engine Company’s parts specialists are available to help identify the correct product before purchase.

Special Orders

All special-order items are custom ordered specifically for the customer and are non-returnable and non-refundable. Please verify part numbers and compatibility before placing your order. If you have any questions, contact Hall Engine Company prior to purchasing.

Restocking Fee

Approved returns may be subject to a 25% restocking fee. The fee may be waived when Hall Engine Company shipped the incorrect item, the product arrived damaged or the return resulted from our error.

Special-order products are generally non-returnable unless the return is approved by the manufacturer.

Shipping Charges

Original shipping charges are non-refundable. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless Hall Engine Company shipped the wrong item, the item arrived damaged or the return is approved as a warranty replacement.

We recommend using an insured, trackable shipping service. Hall Engine Company is not responsible for returns lost or damaged during transit.

Damaged or Missing Shipments

Please inspect shipments immediately upon arrival. If a package arrives damaged, note the damage with the delivery carrier whenever possible, retain all packaging materials and contact Hall Engine Company within 48 hours of delivery. Claims reported after this period may be denied by the carrier.

Warranty Claims

Many products sold by Hall Engine Company are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Warranty claims require inspection and approval by the manufacturer.

Warranty coverage does not include improper installation, incorrect application, abuse, misuse, normal wear and tear, corrosion, contamination or lack of maintenance. Evaluation time varies by manufacturer.

Refund Processing

Once an authorized return has been received and inspected, approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Processing generally requires 5–10 business days after inspection. Banks and credit-card companies may require additional time to post the refund.

Order Cancellations

Orders may be canceled before shipment. Once an order has shipped, it will be handled under this Return Policy. Special-order items cannot be canceled after the order has been placed with the manufacturer.
